It's human nature to think we're the outlier in human biology - we can eat what we want, think how we want, exercise when we want, and expect our health to improve.
Daily decisions create the tomorrow we are now living in today. Racing through today expecting our health in mind, body and spirit to magically be different, is the Standard American Way of Life, but it is false hope. We are lying to ourselves if we think we are going to be running around playing tennis, hiking, tossing our grandkid over our shoulder at Disneyland at 75, if we are living based off what we feel like in the moment.
In 24 hours, tomorrow is showing up. A week is going to pass. A month. A year will be in our rearview, if we are still on planet earth. Start with 1 push up today. Try meat and vegetables for dinner. Drop your phone in the drawer at 5pm. Memorize one verse this week. Call up that person, you have been meaning to reach out to.
