    Those who know say the doll chooses you. I have to agree, if only for the learning curve. I've had my own haunted doll experience and definitely wanted to book an interview when I got a note about this haunted dolls book.

    Fiona Dodwell is a freelance writer and published author whose work spans film, music, and theatre, but her lifelong passion has always been the study of the paranormal. That passion took an unexpected turn while she was researching her book, A Cursed Collection of Haunted Dolls: From Real Life to Literature and Movies.

    During the process, Fiona adopted one of the very objects she was writing about, a haunted doll named Knock Knock Harry. She makes a very brief reference to Harry in the book and that is the hook for this interview. Harry, as it turns out, had no intention of remaining a background character.

    Far from being a shrinking violet, he wasted no time stepping into the spotlight. With a bold personality and a noticeable attitude, Knock Knock Harry has made his presence known in unmistakable ways, even during Fiona’s interviews. You'll find multiple social media interviews and posts.

    What began as research quickly evolved into an ongoing, very active paranormal partnership. Today, Harry is developing a reputation all his own… and he clearly enjoys an audience.

    My personal read? Harry carries a trickster-performer energy, more Houdini than horror. A born entertainer. And, for the record, he is very clear on one point: he is not a ghost.

    The signs had been there all along, but the full connection only crystallized through after-death communication.

    At his funeral, I noticed an extensive display of Titanic memorabilia, books, models, photos, and artifacts. It was clearly a lifelong passion, although I had no idea that display was an indication of how deep his connection ran.

    A day or so afterward, while talking with a friend, I received a fleeting impression with an image of him dressed in a dark uniform. He was wearing a cap and the uniform had metal/brass buttons. I didn’t see his face clearly; my attention was drawn to the details of the uniform, the hat band and the solid buttons.

    A week later, the “reveal” arrived. I happened to catch a local newscast mention of an upcoming Titanic exhibit. As I listened, a distinct impression, part voice, part knowing, came through: “I was an engineer.”

    I found a photo listing some of the engineers. Instantly, I recognized him, my recently departed friend.

    Reincarnation, when seen this way, is about continuity, consciousness carrying forward what it still loves, what it still needs to understand.
