Wendy asks Julia to share where her curiosity about people came from. Julia talks briefly about her documentary filmmaking and theater training which taught her to "step into a character's shoes and see the world through their eyes".

"The conversation needs to become so much more nuanced so that more and more we can see that we're all standing in the middle gazing about and that we're allowed to share and overlap so many of our opinions."
