Studies show only two out of 40 research papers measured dietary intake of patients on these medications. Vitamin deficiencies including vitamin B and thiamine are emerging, with cases of Wernicke's encephalopathy and even scurvy reappearing in patients, with some deficiency symptoms manifesting within two to three months of treatment.
