  • A Minecraft Movie
    Apr 23 2025

A Minecraft Movie from 2025 is a bad film. Jack Black and Jason Momoa plus other unnecessary characters piddle about in a 3D blocky world in the most Macguffinest movie ever. Jay knows literally nothing about Minecraft so this should be fun. Have a listen and see if he becomes a blockhead.

  • Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker
    Apr 15 2025

Star Wars: Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker from 2019 is a bad film.... although heavily disguised as a good film. Everything has been thrown at this to make it palatable- money, CGI, jokes, old characters, and action galore. However, once all this has been skimmed off the surface what we're left with is a big, fat heap of inconsequential nonsense. Listen as Gary and Jay relive the jerky, flashy, crashy Rise of Skywalker until they get motion sickness. "Somehow Palpatine returned." Somehow this film got made.

  • Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi
    Apr 8 2025

Star Wars: Episode VIII - The Last Jedi from 2017 is a bad film... although this is the one that finally split the fandom in twain. Listen to Gary and Jay weigh up the pro and cons (or cons and more cons) of this divisive Disney sequel. What's up with Luke Skywalker? Don't know! Who is Snoke? Who cares? Where is this trilogy heading? No idea!

  • Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens
    Apr 1 2025

Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens from 2015 is a bad film... or is it? Listen to Gary and Jay as they pontificate and pick apart the first of the 'new' Disney sequels. Is it actually a good sci fi film but a bad Star Wars film? Is it hampered by being the opening chapter of a trilogy or is simply a massive wasted opportunity of galactic proportions? You (actually WE) decide!

  • Fateful Findings
    Mar 25 2025

Fateful Findings from 2013 is a bad film. Written, directed, edited, financed by and starring (plus a million other roles) legendary cult film maker Neil Breen, Gary and Jay strap themselves in for a rollercoaster ride. Featuring conspiracy theories, political intrigue, awkward nudity, wonky dialogue, shoddy effects and challenging acting, Fateful Findings is a classic in the good-bad film genre - in no small part due to the unique 'talents' of Neil Breen. This is what cult movie dreams are made of.Wonderful interview with Neil Breen in 2014 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S6RXDAT9xJM

  • Megapython vs Gatoroid
    Mar 18 2025
Megapython vs. Gatoroid from 2011 is a bad film. It’s exactly what it sounds like—massive mutant animals fighting it out, with a whole lot of campy nonsense in between. But Deborah Gibson and Tiffany are in it, so there’s that. We try to figure out how a film this wild manages to have so little action, why the plot is so ridiculous, and if there’s any way to make sense of the monster mash. Also, we explore what it is about these “so bad they’re good” flicks that make them strangely watchable.(Enjoy the sounds of Gary's dishwasher in the background)TiffanyTunes https://tiffanytunes.com/I think we're alone now https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w6Q3mHyzn78Lost in your eyes https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JpZecJ_WsmAFollow We Watch Bad Films on Instagram: https://instagram.com/WeWatchBadFilmsMusic credit: thanks to Andy AruldossPodcast artwork by Jay. • Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
    Mar 11 2025
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull from 2008 is a bad film. It really wants to feel like classic Indy, so it throws in familiar beats—just with more CGI and fewer good ideas. But John Hurt’s in it, so there’s that. We try to make sense of the fridge thing, the alien thing, and the Shia LaBeouf thing. Also, was this the moment Steven Spielberg stopped caring? Let’s find out. (PS this was first recorded to tie in with the release of Dial of Destiny in 2023, so you can understand if we have the odd dated reference! It has also been pointed out to us that the Raiders theory has been raised on Big Bang Theory - neither of us have seen that!) • Dungeons and Dragons (2000)
    Apr 2 2023

Dungeons and Dragons from 2000 is a bad film. Terrible casting, awful story, dreadful dialogue... did I miss anything? No it's a shocker. Listen in to find out what Tom Baker and Richard O'Brien add to the mix. A little chat on I SEE YOU to boot.

Apologies for some occasional audio oddness. Anchor / Spotify have messed with the interface and there were some quirks to get used to.
