This week, the lads take a giant leap into Stanley Kubrick’s sci-fi masterpiece 2001: A Space Odyssey—a film that redefined cinema, confounded audiences, and made classical music terrifying. Tage , Steve and Derek explore apes, space stations, and one very passive-aggressive computer. Strap in—things are about to get monolithic.

From shadowy castles to unsettling performances, they cover it all—except, of course, that mustache. We get it, Nosferatu, you’re undead, but did your barber have to be too? Tune in for sharp takes, witty banter, and a few laughs about facial hair that didn’t quite make the cut.

Join the Lads as they embark on an epic journey through the galaxy, revisiting George Lucas’ 1977 masterpiece, Star Wars (as it was originally titled before the Episode IV subtitle was added in 1981). We talk about how it all started and how we don’t believe Lucas had the entire saga mapped out as he claims now. We are joined later on by a special guest: genuine Star Wars mega fan (and Steve’s son) Sean! So grab your lightsaber, and May the Force be with you!

Happy Halloween! Today, in part 2 of our John Carpenter double feature, the lads dive into his iconic horror masterpiece, "The Thing," released in 1982. We dissect the chilling narrative of an Antarctic research team that encounters a shape-shifting alien life form, leading to paranoia and distrust among its members.

Join us as we discuss the incredible yet disgusting practical monster effects, how perfect Kurt Russell’s performance (and hair) is and how this movie didn’t get the love it deserved until years after it was released.

It’s a week early but Happy Halloween! Today the lads discuss John Carpenter’s 1978 breakout success, Halloween. The town of Haddonfield is stalked by a deranged escaped mental patient named Michael Myers. Jamie Lee Curtis makes her film debut and a franchise that would inspire countless slasher films of the 1980’s is born. Join us as we talk about our favorite parts (The imagery! The music!) our not so favorite parts (The acting, the plot) and remember don’t hide in a closet with flimsy doors when you’re hiding from a psychotic (and probably supernatural) serial killer!
