  • Episode 231: "Get the Sauce!" Feat. CityBoi Sauce
    Dec 9 2025

In this week's episode, the guys tap in with a special guest from City Boi Sauce, breaking down the journey of building a flavor-forward brand from the ground up. We dig into the hustle, the setbacks, the wins, and the heat behind the bottle.

From there, we jump into Rule Breakers, where the crew calls out the wildest violations of the week. And trust — folks were busy.

We take a trip down NBA memory lane as we revisit the Clippers' complicated relationship with Chris Paul, what really went wrong, and whether that era was a missed opportunity or just bad timing. Speaking of awkward reunions, we talk about the viral moment of Trevone Boykin magically showing up at Russell Wilson's Thanksgiving, and why that deserves its own ESPN 30 for 30.

Then the episode gets even more chaotic when The Game hops onstage yelling "Free R. Kelly" and "Free Diddy," and we discuss the internet's immediate "nah, this ain't it" reaction — along with the latest fallout from the Diddy documentary.

Plenty of laughs, plenty of smoke, and plenty of sauce — literally and figuratively.

  • Episode 230: "Quarter Zips over Nike Techs!"
    Nov 18 2025

This week's episode is a full buffet of sports takes, random debates, and pure foolishness. Felix and Beav start by wishing the Brothers of Omega Psi Phi a happy Founders's Day and thank everyone who came out to celebrate over the rainy weekend. Beav then kicks things off with "Dre's Top 5". Then we slide into Quick Hits, headlined by LeBron officially returning to the Lakers, because of course he is—L.A. property taxes need him. Meanwhile in Inglewood, the Clippers new signing Bradley Beal is hurt again.

Then things take a left turn into food anthropology as the fellas argue "How do you eat a taco?" Thanks to Skattabo, we learn way too much about folding technique, structural integrity, and the philosophy behind biting etiquette.

From here, we enter Rule Breakers, and the segment does NOT disappoint:

    • A 50-year-old father and his son suiting up together for Compton CC like it's a Disney+ special nobody asked for.

    • A Michael Jordan impersonator furious he wasn't cast for something, reminding everyone why impersonators usually stay impersonating.

    • Cam Newton pulling up on HBCU leadership

    • 15 dudes packed in one car to go rob somebody—an operation so inefficient even GTA would glitch.

    • And finally, a man who got tackled in the middle of church, proving that the Lord may forgive you, but security will not.

It's sports, it's comedy, it's chaos. Another week of takes you didn't ask for, but absolutely needed. Enjoy!

  • Episode 228: "No Limit or Cash Money?"
    Oct 28 2025

This week on We Don't Make the Rules, the crew dives into everything from hardwood highlights to headline heists. We kick things off breaking down the wild FBI investigation tied to the NBA, then Dre drops his Top 5 of the week—and you already know it's gonna stir debate.

In Quick Hits, we touch on the World Series, NBA Opening Week (Wemby, Sharpe, and VJ Davis showing out), and Cameron Boozer's monster 24-point, 23-rebound performance that has everyone talking.

The convo gets heated as we discuss men coaching in the WNBA, the return (maybe?) of Verzuz, and our latest Rule Breakers—including the viral Perk vs. Ja Morant situation and the ongoing saga of Kevin McCall.

Plus: a little AI talk, a Louvre heist story straight out of a movie, and the internet's take on Keisha Ka'Oir being "too controlling" and Felix explains why people don't understand the meaning of marraige.

It's real talk, laughs, and debates you didn't know you needed. Because remember… We don't make the rules — we just call out who breaks 'em.
