On Oct. 7, 2023, Hamas waged war on Israel killing around 1,200 people and taking 250 hostages to Gaza. Today, over 2 years later there are 48 hostages held by Hamas with only 20 still likely to be alive.

Currently, the Hamas controlled Gaza Ministry of Health reports over 67,000 palestinians have been murdered as a result of the war.
