While it doesn’t get everything right (the Aztec empire was nowhere near the Andes and you can’t go UP whirlpools) it does correctly make a conquistador the unambiguous bad guy!

    The Superior Spider-Man arc continues as Otto does a terrible job imitating Peter Parker, a violent job of handling villains like Sandgirl, but a great job at making Miles suspicious and quitting Horizon. Meanwhile, the real Peter’s digital consciousness tries to save himself from deletion, and we talk about the many missed opportunities of this virtual world. Also… Big Wheel mentioned?!

    Peter Parker is back! Or, well… his body is, at least. We’re finally digging into 2017’s adaptation of The Superior Spider-Man as Otto Octavius gets used to his new superpowered body, unmasks himself to learn the identity of his nemesis Spider-Man, and reckons with the reality that Peter Parker’s memories, experiences, and emotions are now his as well. Also, prepare for a hefty tangent discussing how various versions of Otto Octavius smell! It’s important!
