  • Gertie the old barmaid detests Lyle and resists serving him a second drink at closing despite the “Twenty” he offers her. Flo starts pressuring Lyle to give up his pathetic longing for Silk when suddenly the bar owner appears and throws them both out. Walking to Lyle’s house, Flo notes the cemetery across from his home, which is totally toilet-papered by locals! Georgie drives up and argues with Lyle. Flo gleans his secret: Georgie will die, and soon! And on his porch, lies something big. It’s twitching.
