    Anna Mason, Managing Partner of Ingeborg Investments, a venture-investment fund within the Family Office of Olivia Walton. Ingeborg focuses on investing in female founders and other female fund managers. They invest in innovation that is built with women in mind.

    Anna previously was a Managing Partner at Revolution’s Rise of the Rest Seed Fund, where she worked from 2016-2022. While there, Anna helped lead the transformation of Rise of the Rest from a startup-community bus tour initiative to a fund with $300M in AUM and a mandate to find alpha in overlooked U.S. geographies.

    Anna has 20 years of experience across Wall Street, venture capital, and the startup world. She received her BA from Harvard College and her MBA from the NYU Stern School of Business. She was a 2022 Presidential Leadership Fellow, was named to Fortune’s 40 Under 40 in 2020, Business Insider’s list of 100 People Transforming Business in 2019, and a Washingtonian Tech Titan in 2017 and 2018.

  • The Path to Venture with Haley Zollo

    Haley Kwait Zollo is a Partner at Starting Line and was the first full-time addition to the team in July, 2019. Starting Line is an early stage venture capital fund that invests in consumer technology companies. Haley assists with everything from deal sourcing and diligence to portfolio and fund operational support.

    Prior to joining Starting Line, Haley spent over half a decade leading venture-backed consumer retail startups. Most recently she was VP of Business Operations and Strategy at Mac & Mia, a personalized clothing service for children. Haley came on as one of the first 10 employees, scaled their remote sales team from 3 to 300 and helped lead their Series A of $5M. Mac & Mia was acquired by Stitch Fix Kids in the summer of 2019. Before joining Mac & Mia, Haley was an early hire at Trunk Club where she built the Strategy & Data Analytics team and was a key player in launching their Women’s line. Trunk Club was acquired by Nordstrom in 2014 for $350M.\

    Haley started her career at KPMG in the Transaction Services practice, where she worked on financial due diligence deals for private equity mergers and acquisitions. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University and also earned a CPA upon graduation. In her free time, Haley enjoys playing pickleball and teaching poker!

    Maggie Switek, PhD, an economist and a senior director on the research team at the Milken Institute. She heads all projects related to economic growth and opportunities across regions and communities in the US and abroad. Before joining the Institute, Switek worked in academia and consulting, developing a broad range of expertise in economic competition, labor, public policy, and well-being. Her experience includes working with enforcement agencies to evaluate changes in economic competition structures, advising on the impacts of regulation, and lecturing on economic policy and related topics.

    In research, Switek’s interests include labor, economic well-being, and regional economics. She has published studies related to the effects of public social spending on the quality of life in Latin America, the impact of rapid economic growth (and accompanying economic changes) on well-being in China, and migration patterns among young adults in Sweden. Switek received her PhD in economics from the University of Southern California in 2014.

Zibby hosts retreats, a book club, and frequent events for booklovers. She also founded the original essay publication On Being Jewish Now on Substack.

    When Zibby Owens started her podcast in 2018, she had no idea it would lead to what the LA Times calls "the Zibbyverse." But after turning 40 and getting divorced, she rediscovered her passion for books and followed her instincts, perhaps honed by her MBA, expanding her offerings in ways designed to help all parts of the literary community.
