A note for listeners: I’ve had to be on voice rest this past week so instead I’m bringing you an older episode from our archives! I’ll be back next week with a brand new Outlore Episode!

London, 1993: A man called Colin Ireland made it his New Year’s Resolution to murder as many gay men as possible, and as soon as he began, widespread fear across the capital’s gay community could be felt. He’d stake out at gay bars, waiting and scouting for his next victim…

Then, desperate for fame and notoriety, Colin would call the police on himself, teasing them with his horrific crimes, leading them down a cryptic path of clues.

    The Transfemicide of Brianna Ghey

    England, 2023:

Brianna Ghey, a 16 year old school girl was lured out of her home and to a park, where she became the victim of a violent attack, planned by a girl who she thought was her friend. But this wasn’t the first time this friend tried to take Brianna’s life…

Her name was Scarlett Jenkinson and devastatingly, this time Scarlett’s plan worked. Brianna would not survive her injuries and tragically passed away at the scene.

Scarlett had enlisted the help of Eddie Ratcliffe, an unpopular boy with a hateful streak. Together they’d devised an evil murder plot for Brianna. Their whatsapp messages revealed a horrifying web of evidence. Devised kill lists, dark web obsessions and uncensored, unforgivable homophobic and transphobic messages.

Then, to know when to begin their attack on Brianna, they used the code word ‘GAY’.

But despite all this, Brianna’s murder has still not been classed as a hate crime.

And the trigger for Brianna’s murder in the first place? Scarlett was jealous, because Brianna was deemed prettier than her, and Biranna was trans.

  • The Homophobic Trial of 4 "Satanic" Lesbians
    Jun 1 2025

San Antonio, 1994: Four Latina lesbians were accused of an unthinkable crime and spent nearly two decades in prison for something they didn’t do. In a time when queerness was treated like a crime, their identities became the only evidence needed to lock them up. But they never gave up. They spent years fighting to clear their names and fighting for each other. Today, we know them as The San Antonio Four.

The accusations came from two little girls, just weeks after one of the women, Elizabeth, rejected advances from their father. In the midst of the Satanic Panic, their case sparked a moral firestorm and exposed a justice system all too willing to believe the worst about queer women. This Pride Month, we’re telling their story. Because when the world tried to silence them… they refused to stay quiet.

I’ve
been a fan of her YouTube channel for a long time because I like the way she brings a real and genuine approach to her stories. And the fact that she has respect for the people involved and she doesn’t put on make up while she’s telling these horrific stories! It’s important that these victims are properly represented and she does it in a very respectful way so that they are not forgotten.

I love Eleanor!
