Ustadh Abdulrahman is uniquely positioned as an individual who combines the experience of traditional Islamic scholarship from the East, as well as the knowledge and understanding of the West. By the tender age of 10, Allah allowed him to memorise The Qur’an and Buloogh Al Maraam – a book that contains more than 1,300 hadith. He then went on to formally study Islam in Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Somalia, before returning to the UK as an Imaam and a da’ee. He has delivered hundreds of hours of Islamic content on YouTube and has fast become a popular name amongst the English-speaking Muslim audience.

Ustadh Abdulrahman Hassan discusses the Prophet's names and their meanings, his physical beauty as described by the companions, and most importantly, his character which Allah praised highly in the Quran. This lecture distinguishes between two types of good manners: etiquettes with Allah (khulq ma'Allah) - including sincerity, remembrance, prayer, and repentance - and etiquettes with people (khulq ma'al-khalq). The Prophet excelled in both, never using vulgar speech, always expressing love to those close to him, and maintaining justice without double standards.

    Ustadh highlights numerous qualities of the Prophet ﷺ including his bravery in battle, his humility despite his status, his gratitude to those who helped him (especially his wife Khadija), and his aesthetic lifestyle (zuhd). Through various hadith and stories, Ustadh Abdulrahman Hassan illustrates how the Prophet was the best to his family, forgave those who wronged him, and lived simply despite often going hungry. The message emphasizes that true goodness lies in perfecting one's manners, as the Prophet said he was sent to perfect the character of people. Muslims are encouraged to study his life, follow his example, and be grateful for the blessings they have, recognizing that good character with Allah must come before good character with people.
