Unto us a Child is Born: GO TELL THE WORLD 🌍 ABOUT JESUS (Part 4) Women Proclaimed the Gospel ‼️
By Pastor and Mrs Chifamba
THOSE THAT SAW HIM WHEN HE WAS BORN TOLD OTHERS ABOUT HIM
Psalm 68:11
The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it.
Our sisters, the youth, the middle-aged, and those of advanced years, may act a part in the closing work for this time – {Our Father Cares p. 322.2}
THE GOSPEL COMMISSION IS FOR ALL BELIEVERS NOT JUST THE ORDAINED MINISTERS. ANNA WAS A PROPHETESS WHO PREACHED ABOUT BABY JESUS IN THE TEMPLE. THE WOMAN AT THE WELL WAS A BRAND NEW CONVERT WHO BROUGHT THE WHOLE CITY TO JESUS.
Luke 2:36-38 NKJV
“Now there was one, Anna, a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Asher. She was of a great age, and had lived with a husband seven years from her virginity; and this woman was a widow of about eighty-four years, who did not depart from the temple, but served God with fastings and prayers night and day. And coming in that instant she gave thanks to the Lord, and spoke of Him to all those who looked for redemption in Jerusalem.”
Not upon the ordained minister only rests the responsibility of going forth to fulfill this commission. Everyone who has received Christ is called to work for the salvation of his fellow men. “The Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come.” Revelation 22:17. The charge to give this invitation includes the entire church. Everyone who has heard the invitation is to echo the message from hill and valley, saying, “Come.” – {Acts of the Apostles p. 110.1}
It is fatal mistake to suppose that the work of soul-saving depends alone upon the ministry…. God will send forth into His vineyard many who have not been dedicated to the ministry by the laying on of hands. – {Acts of the Apostles p. 110.2}
John 4:24-30
God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. 25The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things. 26Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he. 27¶And upon this came his disciples, and marvelled that he talked with the woman: yet no man said, What seekest thou? or, Why talkest thou with her? 28The woman then left her waterpot, and went her way into the city, and saith to the men, 29Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ? 30Then they went out of the city, and came unto him.
John 4:39-43
And many of the Samaritans of that city believed on him for the saying of the woman, which testified, He told me all that ever I did. 40So when the Samaritans were come unto him, they besought him that he would tarry with them: and he abode there two days. 41And many more believed because of his own word; 42And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world. 43¶Now after two days he departed thence, and went into Galilee.
The apostle Paul says to the disciples of Jesus, “Ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ,” “known and read of all men.” 2 Corinthians 3:3, 2. In every one of His children, Jesus sends a letter to the world. If you are Christ’s follower, He sends in you a letter to the family, the village, the street, where you live. Jesus, dwelling in you, desires to speak to the hearts of those who are not acquainted with Him. Perhaps they do not read the Bible, or do not hear the voice that speaks to them in its pages; they do not see the love of God through His works. But if you are a true representative of Jesus, it may be that through you they will be led to understand something of His goodness and be won to love and serve Him. – {Steps to Christ p. 115.1}
John 20:20-21
And when he had so said, he shewed unto them his hands and his side. Then were the disciples glad, when they saw the Lord…..
