In today's episode we're diving deep into the mind, breaking free from the shackles of entitlement, and embracing the power of genuine uniqueness.

Let us demolish the notion of feeling 'special' and entitled, and emphasizing that living authentically isn't about waiting for validation.

If you are like me you have fallen into the trap of thinking for have to be a certain type of "special" in order to receive the happiness and joy you are owed. The world owes us nothing, and that's liberating. Break free from entitlement, callous your mind, and embrace the uniqueness that makes you, you.

Stuart did a great job presenting the differences between being “special” versus being “unique”. What this boiled down to for me was “special” being defined as entitled, owed something for simply existing and having expectations. Whereas “unique” was defined as the culmination of our experiences, perspectives, our obstacles overcome, our battles hard fought and won, with some lost and lessons learned, and remaining humble with no expectation of success. Because the true success
is in the journey itself. Fulfillment is in the acceptance and embracing of our unique flaws, quirks, characteristics and individuality. “Special” is the Ego talking, while “Unique” is authentic self-confidence and self-esteem talking, developed through hard work and accountability.
Another brilliant discussion, I look forward to more.

Stuart hits the mark in so many ways in discussing his thoughts on being special vs unique. While many of us will define special in different ways I very much appreciated his message which was one of humility and gratitude. We are all beautifully unique, yet we are made equal and must be willing to work for the things we want in life. None of us is above that. Another thought and discussion envoking episode from this relatable and relevant podcast. Thank you, Stuart.
