  • West Memphis Three (Part One: Robin Hood Hills)
    Mar 23 2026
"As we face this shock... there's something that rises up and says it can't be, it shouldn't have happened."

West Memphis, Arkansas was, in a lot of ways, the kind of American small town that people often romanticize. And like all romanticized places, it had its dark spots - such as poverty, underfunded social services, domestic troubles, and a police department under investigation by the Arkansas State Police for suspected mishandling of drug task force money. It was not a perfect place. But for the children who lived there, it was the only place.

In the spring of 1993, three eight-year-old boys lived in that world. They rode their bikes through the neighborhood and explored the woods behind their houses. On the evening of May 5th, 1993, those three boys went out to play and never came home...

  • The Epstein Scandal (Epilogue?)
    Feb 18 2026
After wrapping up the Epstein scandal series last week, a couple of things continued to irk me. So I’m back for an epilogue of sorts… an episode that may be the end of my take on the Epstein story for good, or maybe just for now. Only time will tell.

  • The Epstein Scandal (Part Seven: The System)
    Feb 13 2026
"If we found six men that they were hiding in two hours, imagine how many men they are covering up for in those three million files."

Between his release from jail in 2009 and his arrest in 2019, Jeffrey Epstein maintained relationships with some of the most powerful people in the world. He traveled freely and regularly hosted gatherings at his properties. He gave money to institutions that accepted it without public acknowledgment. And he continued to position himself as a connector, someone whose value lay in his ability to bring people together.

The evidence released in 2025 and 2026 following the surprising passage of the Epstein Files Transparency Act confirms what many had suspected: that Epstein's network did not collapse after his conviction. Instead, it appears, this system adapted...

  • The Epstein Scandal (Part Six: EDKH)
    Jan 30 2026
"The evidence points to a combination of negligence and misconduct."

In the early hours of 10 August 2019, correctional officers at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Lower Manhattan began their rounds. Shortly after 6:30 a.m., officers approached a cell on the ninth floor of the facility’s Special Housing Unit, a segregated area used for inmates who require administrative separation. Inside that cell was Jeffrey Epstein, the infamous sixty-six year old detainee facing federal charges of sex trafficking minors.

When officers looked inside the cell that morning, Epstein was unresponsive. He was found hanging. Emergency measures were initiated, and he was transported to New York Presbyterian-Lower Manhattan Hospital where he was quickly pronounced dead...

  • The Epstein Scandal (Part Five: The Island)
    Jan 26 2026
"We told the truth back then. They just didn't care."

Following his release from prison in 2009, Jeffrey Epstein set out to re-enter the inner circle of high society. Having been branded a sex offender by federal prosecutors, Epstein quickly found that there was little resistance to him moving around in the same crowd of wealthy and influential people he'd spent the past three decades cultivating. But still, the conviction threatened to complicate his life.

So Epstein withdrew to Little Saint James, a private island in the U.S. Virgin Islands he'd purchased back in 1998. He'd spent years renovating it to suit his lavish lifestyle, and 2009 became the perfect time for Epstein to reshape his life around it. Unfortunately for him, though, the case against him refused to go away quietly. And in 2019, the Miami Herald began publishing a series of articles centered around that original case...
