On this second last episode of the season Bailey and Sam review the grand final in all its glory and we gloss over the collective performances of Brisbane that got them the crown on Saturday and what it means now that they will only get better from here as they enter a new window. We Also look over what this means for Geelong's chances in 2026 to beat history of poor grand final performances that carry on and what went wrong for them in the game.

We also ask how each player that contributes to a team in a premiership side whether if they should earn a medal for certain games played and contributes to finals, It's an interesting debate? We then wrap up with a brief trade period preview and look at the big names that are available and open to deals as there are multiple factors involves and there could be a mega trade brewing... On this weeks episode Not alot didn't go right on a technical front for us but didn't stop us it seemed.

We briefly review the prelims and hand out the reports over Hawthorn and Collingwood and what they can do going into 2026 and moving forward, We believe Hawthorn are entering there window of premiership contention and how they got there drafting and recruitment spot on to be followed by other clubs. (Ok but no copy cats please) Do Collingwood remain in contention with there aging list and there's some unknowns surrounding that too.

We then review the brownlow medal as much to Baileys disgust of Nick Daicos missing out once again and we congratulate Matt Rowell our friend on a great season and earned the award convincingly from the start and then the moment we've craved the most previewing the big game on Saturday and looking back at past grand finals.

Welcome back everyone. Sam's favorite person in the whole wide world wants out of the Essendon football club and Sam's not happy for this one small reason which you will know about very soon we hear from him with all these events going on. In other news we ask the big questions and answer the talking points coming out of the first week of finals, The umpiring, the chaos, the drama and the big moments that lead to victory to all sides involved and what needs to be worked on in there next match ups.

As GWS and Fremantles seasons came to an end we review the seasons of the respective clubs and what needs to happen for 2026 to be a better year for them and we have discovered that the AFL listen to our call with changing the rules as soon as possible and making sure they reach the deadline without scrambling for radical changes.

On this week's episode Sam and Bailey are back in person after numerous technical issues over online calls but this time it's sweet and as good as that. We begin with talking about the round that was for the final time in the Home and Away season looking at the fallout from the dogs just about missing finals why is this the case with this list? The dockers fairytale that is making the finals through such adversity mentioned by some and recapping the finale on Sunday. Are Gold coast limping into finals for the first time and are Collingwood finally back and ready to time there run what does Bailey think?

We also talking about Sam's footy experience on Thursday in what was not a great spectacle at all and it just reminds him the importance of other things in life a different perspective.

We also do something different reviewing the seasons of the bottom 5 clubs on what went well and horribly wrong for them and what can be done in the off season the be better in 2026, It's time to mark those reports and grade them post investigation?

On this episode of the Jamison Shea series as this is part 2 and the final episode. Bailey speaks to Jamison about his journey not making it at AFL level while playing good footy for St Marys.

Reliving some of his memories debuting in the VFL for Footscray as an 18 year old coming up from the northern knights in the TAC cup and all the ups and downs that involved to help him get to where he is today. On a more non series note Bailey also discusses what doors might open to Jamison when he finishes from playing footy and what skills he is teaching to himself now to translate into a career path post footy whether its coaching or learning and developing others to be the best players that can be.
