Unlearning Aloud is a podcast about healing loudly and living intentionally. It’s an honest, sometimes funny, sometimes uncomfortable exploration of trauma, mental health, womanhood, motherhood, and the learned behaviors we picked up just to survive.

Here, we question what we were taught, unpack what we inherited, and decide what we’re done carrying. This isn’t about pretending to be healed or faking confidence until it works. It’s about naming what’s real, choosing differently, and breaking cycles without whispering.

No perfection. No performance. Just living intentionally and unlearning, out loud.

If you grew up in the 1900s, your nervous system deserves a medal.

We lived through disasters, scandals, tragedies, and world-shifting moments before the internet made everything live-streamed trauma. And now our bodies are still stuck in “brace for impact” mode.

This episode is a chaotic stroll through the major “what the hell just happened” moments of our lifetime — and why you are not required to emotionally attend every crisis on Earth.

We’ve survived enough. Time to stand down.

Welcome to Unlearning Aloud—where we unpack why your personality might just be a highly effective survival strategy that’s past its expiration date.

In this first episode, we’re talking about unlearning: what it actually means (spoiler—you can’t delete your brain), how people-pleasing kept you alive long enough to be tired, and why sitting quietly while everything burns is not the same thing as being healed.

We get into boundaries, accountability, the fine line between “having an opinion” and “being a garbage human,” and why you’re allowed to walk away from people—even if you’ve known them since third grade or share DNA.

There will be feral metaphors. There will be uncomfortable truths. There will be at least one moment where you feel personally attacked but in, like, a loving way.

This is not a debate podcast. This is not a self-help sermon. This is a permission slip to stop apologizing for bleeding.

Welcome to Unlearning. We’re healing loudly and living intentionally—cuss words included.
