Underground metal nasce come programma su rete inizialmente su Radiodimensione web, per poi spostarsi su un'altra web radio, radio Enjoy, ed ora essere su Iria Podcasting. Il punto di partenza del programma è dare spazio a quel metal e rock che le grandi radio non cagano perchè esulano del giro delle canzoni mainstream.
Il mondo del metal/rock si è evoluto, dando vita a mille derive musicale e fusioni tra generi, molto spesso tralasciate o messe in secondo piano, impedendo a tanti artisti famosi o meno di poter diffondere la propria musica.
Tutti i martedì dalle 21:00 Underground metal proporrà band e generi, prendendo a pieni mani da questo immenso mare di suoni, cercando di dare info su concerti, canzoni e artisti, dal passato ad oggi.
In un ora di musica sarà data la possibilità anche a band emergenti di passare nella programmazione musicale, e sarà dato spazio anche al nostro metal nostrano, sempre troppo poco supportato.
