Hubert Davis and the North Carolina Tar Heels made their second scholarship offer in the class of 2026 on Monday, in the wake of the June 15 contact “opening day” for the rising junior class. That offer when to No. 1 PF in the country, Tyran Stokes. Stokes has an electric mix of size, athleticism, and skill set and is an absolute joy to watch play basketball. Would the Tar Heels be a legitimate player in his recruitment?

The Diamond Heels pick back up their quest for College World Series glory when they take the field Tuesday against Florida State in an elimination game. If UNC loses their season is over. If they win, they move on to play Tennessee again. Can Vance Honeycutt and company do it?
