Trouble

I met a teenager in Africa whose mother was sick.

This sweet girl, Nicole, was afraid of losing her mother, who she loved so much. And she hated watching her mother suffer.

At the festival where we were sharing about the love of Jesus, she raised her hand, ready to respond to the love, to the forgiveness, to the comfort offered through a relationship with Jesus.

God met her in her pain. He took care of her. He comforted her on that day where no one else could.

Are you afraid? Is someone you love suffering and struggling? Are you suffering?

Turn your heart to the King, not away from Him. He loves you!

Jesus Himself said these words: “In this world you will have trouble.”

But then He said: “You can be encouraged because I have overcome the world.”
