Hello and welcome to the latest episode of our podcast Trending among Millennials. In this episode, Aarushi and Aditya are talking about nothing but Mirzapur season 2. Mirzapur is one of India's most awaited web series. The buzz it has created is huge.

Aarushi and Aditya started their conversation by talking about season 1 and the expectations they had from season 2. Aditya said that in the same way hype was made for Sacred Games. Season 1 of sacred games was very popular but when season 2 came, it was not welcome with that enthusiasm. Season 2 of Sacred Games was not able to maintain the level of season 1. While this is not the case with Mirzapur. Storywise Mirzapur season 2 is even stronger than season 1. Mirzapur season 1 was more about bullets on the contrary season 2 is about characters.

Talking about characters Aarushi started by talking Robin with the catchphrase "Yeh bhi thik hai". Aditya said although very small Robin's character is the more appreciated one. As far as social media is considered, Robin's character is the most loved one. They were surprised that why Robin was not in the trailer.

Next, they talked about Vijay Verma. Vijay Verma is playing the role of a twin brother, Bade, and Chhote. Vijay Verma is a flawless actor and it is always a treat to watch him. Aarushi said that seems like Vijay Verma is going to be among the most important character in season 2.

They both agreed that the character of Munna Bhaiya is the soul of Mirzapur. It is Munna Bhaiya which makes other character looks important. Rasika Duggal as Beena is the game-changer and it would be not worn to say that she is the most important feminist character also. Pankaj Tripathi as Kaleem Bhaiya is awesome as always.

Aarushi and Aditya started there conversation with the launch of the trailer of Mirzapur 2. They said that the hype Mirzapur has created so much that even Sacred Games is looking tiny in front of them. Season 2 of Mirzapur is to be released on 23rd of October.

Then they started talking about the Netflix Documentary show Bad Boy Billionaires. The series is the documentary about how the business giants in India looted the money from the bank. Aarushi said that the show is very intriguing and keep you intact with it. “It reminds me of my childhood that how everyone was having a policy from Sahara”, Aditya Said. They said that it is something that Netflix should focus on as the other Indian content on the platform is trash.

The next topic they talked about was movie trailer. Laxmi Bomb’s trailer is out which is one of the most awaited Bollywood movie since the lockdown has begun. Aarushi said that sweeping the expectation in gutter Laxmi Bomb is not looking promising at all. She felt that the original movie was far better than this as far as the trailer is considered. Aditya said that the content looks like some 8-10 year old content and in these years movies have changed. They should have worked more on bringing the freshness in the trailer.

Later they talked about a music video by Chai met Toast Band which is Kahaani. They found the video and as well as the song very soothening. Aarushi said they she was fed up of songs from T Series and watching this song is really relaxing. Aditya said that also one of the reasons why liked that song is because of Anne Ben is featuring in this song.

Lastly they talked about the YouTube trending video they used to rant about. Aditya and Aarushi found that they have started liking this section now.

Aarushi & Aditya are back with the eleventh episode of their weekly pop culture podcast

‘Trending Among Millennials’ .They have again come up with the last week’s trending topics which were a web show or documentary, a movie trailer, a music video and lastly a top trending random youtube video.They were so happy on their completion of 1000 downloads.

Aarushi said that recording the eleventh episode was giving her good vibes about their upcoming success. Then, Aditya after this small celebration and thanking his listeners, started talking about how the society has shifted from physical protests to social media protests .Talking about this, they discussed their first segment which is a Netflix original documentary ‘ The Social Dilemma’ which presents the reality of the social media applications such as facebook, google, instagram etc. . They both had a serious discussion over this documentary and concluded that it’s a must watch for every social media user. Next , they came up with a movie trailer from netflix again which is a Nawazuddin Siddiqui movie named ‘Serious Men’ which is directed by ‘Sudhir Mishra’ who directed the movie ‘Hazaron Khwaishein Aisi’ which is till date regarded as one of the best movies of bollywood. They both liked the trailer and decided that they will watch it for sure because it has some new storyline which reflects light on how the kids from birth are extraordinary and wonders everyone.

After this, they talked about a music video, which basically is a song from the movie ‘Indoo Ki Jawani’ named ‘Haseena Pagal Deewani’ by Mika Singh. This is a recreated version of Mika Singh’s song ‘Sawan mein lag gayi aag or as Aditya called it ‘Sawan mein lag gayi aag 2.0’.

They ended the podcast with their last segment which was an entertaining trending video from youtube. The name of the video was ‘ Mera sala ghar aaya’ . They both had great fun discussing the video because they found the content so worthless.

To this they ended their podcast on a happy note and hoped that they would reach the 1100th podcast in no time.

Aarushi and Aditya started their conversation with the stupidity going on in Indian media. How they are showing ridiculous things in the name of news. Aditya even said that the swarg ki saatvi seedhi and 2012 apocalypse was even better than the present news stories. They are toxic and should not be watched.

Aarushi started the review by talking about how good the JL50 series is. Aarushi loved the series and said that the content is very fresh. The movie stars Abhay Deol, Pankaj Kapoor, and Piyush Mishra in lead roles. Aarushi told that Pankaj Kapoor is fabulous like always and it is always a treat to watch him. She said that it is a must-watch for the listeners.

Next, they talked about the movie trailer which is Cargo starring Vikrant Messi and Shweta Tripathi. The movie s premiered on Netflix. Aditya said that as he found that Vikrant Messi is in this movie, he instantly started liking it. The trailer looked very interesting and impressive. Cargo is a sci-fi and it was also featured in MAMI.

Later they talked about Manoj Bajpayee's Bhojpuri rap song 'Bambai mein ka Ba'. "This rap is one of its kind as we have heard something this for the very first time", Aarushi said. The song portrays the problem faced by migrant workers during the lockdown. The concept is something really new and it should be heard again and again.

Lastly, they talked about a youtube trending video Ruchi ka Sofa by Ruchi and Piyush.

Aarushi and Aditya started their conversation with the PUBG ban and how Aditya was upset with that. They talked about their very first review, a Boby Deol starring web series Aashram. This is produced by Prakash Jha. Aarushi found it quite entertaining, she told that it has also portrayed many social issues.

Next, they discuss the web series trailer of JL50. JL50 is starring Abhay Deol and Pankaj Kapoor. JL50 is inspired by a conspiracy story of Santiago where a flight landed after 35 years. Aarushi and Aditya both find the trailer very interesting. Abhay Deol is back after a long time and is also looking promises.

Later they talked about a trending song by Jubin Nautiyal, Dil Chahte ho. Aarushi said that the song was just like any other song nowadays. There was not any extra thing in the music video that can help the video to stand out. Even the charm of Jubin Nautiyal was not enough.

And Lastly, they talked about the Youtube trending video, Rich Mom vs Poor Mom by Sanjhalika Vlog. We don't have much to talk about the video just like the script it has.

Aarushi & Aditya are back with their next episode of their podcast ‘Trending Among Millennials’.

This is Episode 8 of their weekly podcast. This is a pop culture weekly podcast about trending things throughout the week. They review movies,web series, youtube videos, music videos, weekly trending and viral memes.

This week they discussed about a Netflix movie ‘Class of ‘83 ‘. A movie teaser ‘Khaali Peeli’ .

A music video ‘Dynamite’ by BTS. And at the last, a random entertaining youtube trending video.

So, as Aarushi welcomed their listeners and said hi to Aditya, he didn’t respond because he said he was busy thinking about the trending viral meme and video

“ Rasode mein kaun tha? “ they discussed the meme for sometime and then Aditya changed the topic by saying that he was happy after the announcement of ‘Mirzapur 2’ on Amazon Prime Video which will be premiered on the platform on October 23 this year.

After all this they started their reviewing about the Netflix movie ‘Class of ‘83 , starring Bobby Deol, whom Aarushi mentioned as everyone’s 90’s favourite hero. Aditya didn't watch the movie so Aarushi called him the student who never does his homework. Aarushi found the movie a one time watch and told the listeners and Aditya that the movie’s best part is that it is police oriented but not criminal oriented as like other movies nowadays.

Secondly, they discussed about a movie teaser ‘Khaali Peeli’ starring Ishan Khattar and Ananya Pandey. Aarushi told Aditya that this teaser is also been targeted by the youngsters, memers as the most disliked video. But, Aditya said that he liked the teaser and is looking forward to the movie.

After all the movie reviews they moved to the music video ‘Dynamite’ released by BTS.

Aditya & Aarushi both admitted that they don’t know much about this music band. They Aditya told Aarushi the full name of the group which is Bangtan Boys and they are from South Korea.

Moving on, at last they talked about the youtube video by ‘BakLol Video’ named ‘My first dog vs. Family’.They found this video not that disgusting but not that interesting too. Basically, they found this a bit boring due to some repeated content and Aditya found some objectionable things which he didn’t like much.

Ending the podcast, they finally asked their listeners to listen and subscribe to all the platforms on which they will be listening the podcast.
