A lot of times we think that trauma is an event that happened to us somewhere in our past.
But, in truth, trauma isn't the event.
Even though the entire world could tell us what happened was traumatic...
it's the thoughts that get stored in our nervous system that cause the trauma.
This is why it's so important to do thought work as well as nervous system work when it comes to healing trauma.
