I have wanted for years to start trapping. I grew up in a family of trappers that sadly lost their way and quit when the fur prices plummeted so I never got to go out and learn how to. My older brother still traps but he is busy so after asking to pick his brain I just never got to meet up with him to run his line and observe. This year when my old job shut down I got a nice severance I spent on traps, lures, baits, and supplies. I bought my license and read up on every rule in our state game law book and watched more YouTube videos than a high school kid. Which brings me to why I love this podcast because I learn a lot, and get to listen to others talk about something I truly enjoy. I don’t have anyone to talk about trapping with so just listening to the stories, advice, and chit chat makes my day. Thank you!
