  • Many people know of Jerry Sandusky, the Penn State assistant coach who was convicted of child molestation. However, the case of Todd Hodne is not as well-known. Hodne was a former Penn State student and football player who was convicted of raping one student and several other women in the late 70s. Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss the crimes committed by Todd Hodne. Todd went from a promising football star to a convicted rapist. Prosecutors warned that he was a continuing danger to society, but Hodne was released on parole and went on to murder a man in the late 80s. Off the top of the head

I have listened to hundreds of hours of true crime podcasts and this is the worst presentation of facts I have yet to hear. These guys don’t seem to do much research beyond the news accounts - no police reports, court papers or records, or even a hint of expert information.
The sidekick appears nothing more than a prop for the host and the sidebars are irrelevant and do not move the presentation along in any meaningful way.
If the purpose of the podcast is to let us overhear a guy sharing second hand information with his buddy, it has succeeded.
