How are music subcultures established, and what is it that keeps them together? Presenter Jade Barnett speaks to youth worker and writer Ciaran Thapar, Drill artists Relly and Cristale, and to Jazz-Drill fusion duo, XVNGO and Master Mac, to find out how, despite all the negative media attention Drill receives, Drill forms a sense of community. Meanwhile, Manchester correspondent Alice Reid sits down with female and non-binary music collectives in Manchester and learns about the communities they are creating through their music.
