Welcome friends to the Third Eye Heavy podcast. My name is Sid! I grew up in southwestern Iowa and am currently based in Omaha, NE. I am a musician, music lover, sound artist, and a huge radio nerd. This is a new podcast for the Council Bluffs, Omaha, and surrounding areas where I'll be exploring the intersections of music, radio, and sound!

First up is music news and a live show calendar, followed by a feature on Myron Elkins in the Music Spotlight. In the Heavy Conversations segment I'll chat with Duane Larison, operations manager for Superior Stage Services, a provider of specialized labor for the concert production industry. And in the Radio Nerd Mini Feature I'll tell you about a heavy metal radio show from back in the day!
