March Madness is a (YAWN) wrap. Greed has officially killed college sports. The Tigers are not off to the start we wanted now that we care to talk about them here LOL. But this week, its all about The Masters. Our first major of the year and time for the GOAT contributors to pick em with us AND bring us a new, master class in music play lists. We are just days away from the most glorious three weeks in sports - March Madness. A lot of crazy going on in the wide world of sports from more M scandals and bad news (it will bite them eventually), to bid stealers, Team USA chocking in the whatever that tournament is called, golf triumphs and failures and more. March is upon us and that is about all you need in sport these days. BUT there was Lions news, plenty of MSU to catch up on, a golf flop leading into two great non-major weekends. Basketball is on the dial 24-7... what more do you need in life right now except open golf courses and temps in the 60s!

March is nigh and hoops is heating up. The NCAA Selection Committee unveiled it's top 16 seeds and a slew went and lost. This is why March is mad. Let's just hope they don't screw it up for real. But it wasn't just a great week of hoops, Team USA wins hockey gold for the first time since 1980 and goes full patriot in the process. The golf has been pure theater. It's a great time to be a sports fan. Not you NBA. Not you NFL. Yes you hockey and golf and kinda, sorta men's college hoops...
