The source of all growth is an increased acceptance of the magnificence of who we are. We create with our thoughts. The more aware we are of our thoughts and our freedom to choose which thoughts to act on the more effective we are in creating the life of our dreams.

I've found that every thought has an emotion tied to it. Acting on that thought increases my experience of that emotion. I've found that accepting thoughts that have a deep and congruent peace as part of them have always been proven to be true and beneficial to act on. This is true even if the thought seems very different to my historical thinking. For example, my thought of who I am has changed over the years. It's gone from being a separate individual who is born, lives and dies, to being light that has always existed and always will exist, to being the spark of GOD that animates all life. I know there will be more thoughts that I will embrace that will enrich my life even more. I know that at some point I'll relate to being ONE with all that exists. In fact, I've been inspired to adopt a mantra that says, "I am the world". Even though much of my thinking doesn't relate to this, I feel better repeating this thought at every opportunity, so I do that.

In order to grow, I believe, we need to accept what is true at ever deeper levels even if that means leaving old ways of thinking and seeing ourselves behind. The more we grow in our self acceptance, the more that growth will be reflected back to us by the outer world. In my experience the outer world is giving way to my inner world as I focus increasingly on my inner world.
