The message is in your Heart! - Deuteronomy 30:9-14

Today’s Scripture richly distinguishes between our will and God’s will. And some questions came up: Are we planning on deciding to obey God using our own will or are we planning to decide with the help of God’s divine Will? Even way back when the message was in our hearts. During Moses’ time most things are learned by heart. Information about watering holes, after all, in Israel, watering holes were significant because that information served as a vital resource in arid landscapes, they were important for survival, as well containing spiritual symbolism then there were agricultural practices, weaving cloth, making food. Even learning the Torah, the first five books of the Bible. Everything was learned by heart by young children at the feet of their parents, grandparents and leaders.
