Join Bryan Dean Wright, former CIA Operations Officer, as he dives into today’s top stories shaping America and the world. In this episode of The Wright Report, we cover Trump’s meeting with Putin and the fallout across Europe, Russia’s blackmail operations inside the U.S., Palestinian visas and radicalism, China’s military support for Iran, unrest in Jordan, and a surprising scientific link between coffee and happiness.

From high-stakes diplomacy in Washington to national security risks at home, plus a bit of good news from Germany, today’s brief brings you the stories shaping America and the world.

European Leaders Scramble After Trump-Putin Talks:
After President Trump’s meeting with Vladimir Putin in Alaska, European heads of state rushed to Washington DC to secure strong U.S. security guarantees for Ukraine. Trump signaled support for a permanent defense pledge but urged Kyiv to accept a peace deal even if unpopular. Bryan explains why critics warn this risks dragging America into a perpetual European conflict.

Russia Hacks U.S. Courts to Build Blackmail Files:
Bloomberg confirms that Russian cyber operatives infiltrated the federal court system for years, stealing sealed records and exposing informants. The stolen material may allow Putin to blackmail American politicians and corporate leaders. Bryan details how this could compromise U.S. decision-making and weaken trust in federal institutions.

China Re-Arms Iran with Missiles and Air Defenses:
Following its war with Israel, Tehran is rebuilding its weapons stockpiles with Chinese rocket fuel, missile systems, and air defenses. Despite Beijing’s denials, intelligence reports confirm the transfer. Bryan unpacks what this means for the Middle East and U.S. national security.

Palestinians Entering U.S. Under Questionable Visas:
Reports reveal that thousands of Palestinians entered the United States under humanitarian visas with little or no vetting. Critics warn of radical sympathies and cultural incompatibility, while Islamist groups call the backlash discriminatory. Bryan examines how this policy failure exposes America to preventable risks.

Jordan Cracks Down on Palestinian Radicals:
The Jordanian government has intensified scrutiny of the Islamic Action Front for its ties to the Muslim Brotherhood and Palestinian extremists. With half of Jordan’s population of Palestinian origin, King Abdullah faces a delicate balancing act to preserve stability. Bryan explains why this story is a warning for U.S. immigration debates.

Coffee Boosts Mood and Mental Health:
A new German study shows daily coffee drinkers report lower levels of depression, anxiety, and sleep problems. Researchers link the benefits to gut bacteria changes that boost serotonin and brain health. Bryan shares why your morning cup might be doing more than keeping you awake.

Join Bryan Dean Wright, former CIA Operations Officer, as he dives into today’s top stories shaping America and the world. In this episode of The Wright Report, we cover DC’s surprising new cooperation with Trump’s immigration crackdown, major developments in detention facilities across multiple states, cartel drones at the border, Harvard’s patent problem, nuclear energy breakthroughs, rising AI power demands, and a surge in U.S. military recruitment.

From crime crackdowns to cutting-edge energy projects, today’s brief packs in the key headlines you need to know heading into the weekend.

DC Partners with Trump on Immigration Enforcement:
Washington DC’s police chief announces the city will now cooperate with ICE on arresting illegal immigrants, a sharp reversal from its sanctuary city stance. Trump allies celebrate the move as a model for nationwide enforcement, while debate continues over alleged manipulation of DC’s crime statistics.

    Homeless Encampment Removal in DC:
Heavy equipment is clearing dozens of tent sites under overpasses and in parks. Officials offer shelter and mental health services to displaced individuals, but critics warn the homeless population may simply relocate to nearby states.

New Immigration Detention Facilities in Florida, Texas, and Louisiana:
Governor Ron DeSantis unveils “Deportation Depot” in Florida, Texas prepares Fort Bliss to house 5,000 illegal immigrants, and Louisiana opens space in its state prison for 500 detainees alongside violent offenders — drawing sharp criticism from the ACLU.

Cartel Drone Operations at the Border:
DHS reports nearly 30,000 cartel-operated drone sightings in just six months, many flying at night to drop contraband or surveil U.S. defenses. Officials warn these drones could eventually target law enforcement or civilians.

    Trump Targets Harvard’s Lucrative Patents:
The administration demands a full accounting of Harvard patents and licenses developed with federal funds, citing a 1980 law requiring public benefit and U.S.-based manufacturing. The university has yet to respond.

    Small Modular Reactor Program Fast-Tracked:
The Department of Energy selects 11 companies to build new nuclear plants within a year to meet surging energy demands, particularly from AI data centers. One Wyoming facility is projected to use more electricity than all homes in the state combined.

U.S. Military Recruitment Surges Under Trump:
All branches are ahead of schedule on enlistment goals, prompting the Army to add 10 new basic training units. Defense officials credit better pay, targeted support programs, and renewed interest under the current administration.

Listener Question - Two Years of The Wright Report:
Bryan reflects on memorable listener stories, from health breakthroughs and autism research to workplace insights and investment wins sparked by podcast coverage. He also previews an upcoming AI tool for searching past transcripts.

  • 14 AUG 2025: Obama’s Deep State Attacks: New Top Secret Document Released // US Factories Coming Home // Farm & Ranch Update // Trump & Putin Face off // Ukraine’s Front Lines Crack // Mysterious Drone Flight
    Aug 14 2025

Join Bryan Dean Wright, former CIA Operations Officer, as he dives into today’s top stories shaping America and the world. In this episode of The Wright Report, we cover explosive new evidence of an Obama-era conspiracy against Donald Trump, major shifts in U.S. manufacturing and agriculture, high-stakes diplomacy before the Trump–Putin meeting, the collapse of Ukraine’s front lines, and a mysterious American drone mission deep into Mexico.

Newly Declassified Email Exposes Obama-Era Conspiracy:
A Top Secret 2016 email from NSA Director Mike Rogers to James Clapper, John Brennan, and James Comey reveals deep concerns over Obama’s rushed Intelligence Community Assessment on alleged Trump–Russia collusion. The correspondence confirms intelligence officials were pressured to rubber-stamp a politically driven report that included the discredited Steele Dossier. Bryan details why this is foundational evidence of a seditious conspiracy.

GE Appliances Moves Production Back to the U.S.:
Trump’s tariff strategy prompts GE Appliances, formerly owned by a Chinese company, to relocate manufacturing of ranges and refrigerators from Mexico and China to plants in Georgia, Alabama, Kentucky, Tennessee, and South Carolina, creating 1,000 new jobs.

    U.S. Farm and Ranch Report:
Bred heifer prices hit record highs as cattle herd sizes remain at 1950s lows, keeping beef prices elevated. Favorable rains and cheaper feed are encouraging herd rebuilding, while the dangerous New World screwworm threatens to cross the border from Mexico. Crop conditions are generally good, but trade restrictions tied to tariffs are shifting agricultural export strategies.

Mexico Sends 26 Cartel Members to U.S. Custody:
President Claudia Sheinbaum transfers dangerous cartel figures to the United States, defying Mexico’s constitution under technical loopholes. The move follows White House pressure to prevent cartel leaders from escaping Mexican prisons and resuming drug and human trafficking operations.

Trump and European Allies Set Ukraine Negotiation Red Lines:
Ahead of tomorrow’s Alaska meeting with Vladimir Putin, Trump and European leaders agree on five conditions for peace talks, including a cease-fire, starting territorial discussions from current front lines, and securing binding Western security guarantees. European leaders will not attend the Alaska talks, leaving the White House to own the negotiations and their outcome.

    Ukraine’s Front Lines Near Collapse:
Russian forces, bolstered by North Korean mercenaries, gain six miles in the Donetsk region through relentless “meat wave” assaults. Ukrainian soldiers are frustrated with leadership, and public support for the war has collapsed, with 69 percent now favoring a negotiated settlement. Bryan warns that without fresh troops or a change in strategy, Ukraine risks losing the entire country.

U.S. Drone Conducts Deep Strike Recon in Mexico:
An American MQ-9 Reaper drone flew 600 miles into cartel-controlled territory in Michoacán before shutting off its transponders. The mission likely signals upcoming U.S. military action against cartels, with or without Mexican government cooperation, as Trump accelerates his campaign against foreign and domestic enemies.

Awesome program

I have listened to this podcast for a while now. Daily. But the amount of bias has finally gotten me to the point of unfollowing. I want the news, and I'm fine with it leaning what ever way to an extent. but the way he talks about gems as if they have nothing to offer and are useless is annoying. on top of that he does only seem to report things that fit his bias vs giving us a real idea on what the other side thinks. I had to stop trusting what he said after a while of just derogatory hate for dems. I lean right and really just would love someone who reports facts. he does do good at stating when he is saying his opinion most of the time, which is great and why I listened for so long, but he dosnt seem inclined to change his perspective based on new information and just doubles down blaming everything on dems in general instead of cutting responsibility on the person/people who did it.

he not a bad talker but pretty biased
