  • The Hubbub App with Michele Hermes, Founder and CEO, Think Out Loud Co
    Sep 13 2023

Here is the description we wrote for Michele to use.

Market research is a big business. In fact, it's a $74 billion industry! But how does it work? And how can you get your hands on the data you need to make better business decisions?

In this podcast, we're talking to Michele Hermes, Founder, and CEO of Think Out Loud Co., about Hubbub, a new app that's changing the way market research is done. Hubbub is a peer-to-peer polling platform that allows anyone to create and participate in polls. This means that you can get feedback from a much wider range of people than you could with traditional market research methods.

We discuss how Hubbub works, how to buy and sell polling data, and the challenges and opportunities of using this new platform. We'll also talk about the sample size problem with modern polling, biases in polling data, and how to avoid them.

So if you're interested in learning more about market research, Hubbub, or how to get better data for your business, then be sure to listen to this episode!

    #marketresearch  #polling #bias #data

Here is how WillyT Productions got hired by Michele and Hubbub

Michele came to us looking for content to start sharing online. She has an app but she needed some "edutainment" to break down what her app does, how it will disrupt the marketplace, the problems it solves, and how users can actually use it.

In our pre-production meeting, we established some questions broken up into categories.

    Hubbub and Polling 101

    What exactly is market research?
Why is market research important to literally every single business ever?
How did it become a 74 Billion industry?
    How does Hubbub work?

    Problems with Polling

    1. Their polling methodology is intended to sample a small group of individuals
    (500-1,000).
    2. It’s just not realistic and promotes inaccuracy. The polling
data is full of biases so the results published now are unreliable on this
    basis alone.
    3. Polling is extremely expensive. Conducting a single opinion poll can cost thousands of dollars.

A bulk of the content is focused on these three problems, defining them, and explaining how Hubbub is the solution.

Michele sent over the background you see in the video, her logo, the color codes for the logo, and the font files so we could create the graphics package.

From this hour's discussion, Michele received 8 clips that were between 2-10 minutes and 19 shorts that are less than 60 seconds and optimized for TikTok, Reels, and YouTube shorts.

In addition to that, she got titles, descriptions, and hashtags for each piece of content for her to use as a baseline for making a post on social media with the content.

  • Unleashing the Power of AI: Leveling the RIA Field
    Sep 6 2023

Qdeck came to WillyT Productions in need of a host for their webinar on the Power of AI and how it will impact the Registered Investment Advisor space.

They wanted the webinar to be conversational, but not an informercial for their product, Qcast. Their target audience was RIA advisors, and we were live to around 100 people on LinkedIn.

We scheduled a pre-production call to go over their goals and potential questions. We also discussed key things to avoid, which is important for our hosts to know. The Qdeck team was easy to work with because they knew exactly what they wanted, and we knew exactly what to deliver.

Qdeck handed over their logos and font files and we got to work with making the graphics packages and forming the questions. Once the questions and package were confirmed we were good to go.

We split the questions into 3 buckets.

    Marketing Automation where questions included:

Are you currently using AI within your RIA?
    What’s your relationship with AI?
How much time does using AI save you?
Will AI allow you to take on more clients or hire more agents?
Will AI eliminate some operational costs to make a new business easier to open?
Are there any challenges or risks associated with implementing AI in the RIA industry?
How can these be addressed to ensure successful adoption?

    Client Services where questions included:

Can AI be used to help your clients pick up patterns or trends in their portfolios?
Does the AI ever reveal its sources, or do you have to ask for the sources?
Does the platform source independent sources as well?
How does it define a trustworthy source?
What happens when those trustworthy sources are wrong?
Would it consider Jim Kramer a trusted source, he’s wrong all the time.
Do you legally (or morally) have to disclose that you are using AI to source this information for clients?

    Investment Strategies where questions included:

Will RIAs who don’t use AI fall behind?
Are there templates or best practices RIAs should follow when creating prompts?
Will there need to be any training, are those resources available?
How will different client objectives lead to different uses and outcomes? Provide an example
Do you have any financial projections? How much money can AI make a client? Or lose for a client? Give me some numbers here.

We decided these were best because Qdeck wanted to reassure their audience that AI will not be taking jobs away, but it will change the way they work. They wanted to educate their audience on AI and how it will work, how it will save them time, and how it can be used improperly.

After the recording, WillyT Productions went to work and cut more than 25 clips and shorts for QDeck to use in their promotional material. Each panelist also got copies of the content for them to use across their channels as well.

We will post the clips and explain why we decided to cut those moments on this channel.

    Stay tuned

  • Walter Olúwọlé - CEO BSC International & Cybersecurity Expert
    Sep 5 2023

Walter Olúwọlé is the CEO of BSC International and a Cybersecurity Expert.

Walter came to WillyT Productions looking for content he could use for his website and newsletter. His target audience was CEOs and C-Suite executives he currently has in his network.

His keys to success were engagement and more leads for his business.

In our pre-production call, we came up with the strategy and planned out the 3-act structure for the recording session. We did this by making the host put himself in the position of a CEO.

    What questions would they ask?
What would they want to know?
What value would they need to gain?

We split it into 4 categories.

    1.  The basics and 101 on cybersecurity
    2.  How to pick a cybersecurity provider to best support your business
    3.  The finances behind cybersecurity and how much it will cost a business to be protected.
    4.  The future of cybersecurity with remote work and AI

The video has Walter's logo embedded in the bottom corner for brand recognition. The clips have subtitles in the companies' colors and type font for even more brand recognition.

10 clips were pulled from this podcast for further content for Walter to use across his business needs.
