Hyperbaric Healing & Whole-Body Recovery with Dr. Erich Lieberknecht - 30

On this episode of The Whole Health Podcast, co-hosts Megan Barnett, MS, CNS, and Dr. Kelly Blodgett, DMD, NMD, IBDM sit down with Dr. Erich Lieberknecht, founder of B-Line Clinic in Bend, Oregon. Dr. Lieberknecht shares his journey from traditional chiropractic care to a cellular-medicine approach rooted in hyperbaric oxygen therapy, shockwave therapy, neuro-mapping, and advanced recovery technologies. Together, they explore how oxygen, energy production, and biomechanics drive healing at the deepest levels of the body. This conversation offers an eye-opening look at what becomes possible when we support the body’s innate ability to repair from the inside.

    Topics Discussed:

    • The advantages of hard-shell hyperbaric chambers—higher pressure, higher oxygen concentration, temperature control, and comfort—and how they accelerate neurological and tissue repair.

    • How shockwave therapy reduces inflammation, recruits stem cells, stimulates new blood vessel growth, and helps patients avoid or delay joint replacement while returning to the activities they love.

    • Neuro-mapping and microcurrent as tools to “update the software” of the nervous system, resolve long-standing pain patterns, restore biomechanics, and why true whole health leads to kinder, more connected communities.

Cavitations Explained: Dr. Kelly Blodgett on the Hidden Jawbone Problem - 29

On this episode of The Whole Health Podcast, co-hosts Megan Barnett, MS, CNS, and Dr. Kelly Blodgett, DMD, NMD, IBDM dive into the hidden world of jawbone cavitations and why they matter far beyond your mouth. Dr. Blodgett explains what cavitations actually are—fatty, degenerative osteonecrosis of the jaw—how they commonly form after tooth and wisdom tooth extractions, and why they’re so often missed in conventional dentistry.

    Topics Discussed:

-Why traditional tooth extraction techniques (relying on a blood clot alone) often lead to cavitations, and how biologic dentistry uses thorough debridement, grafting, and patient preparation to support true bone healing.

-The role of bacteria and biofilms in cavitation sites, how oral microbes travel via the bloodstream, and the parallels with periodontal disease, arterial plaque, and Alzheimer’s pathology.

-How patients can advocate for themselves: understanding their extraction history, recognizing possible systemic clues, and seeking out biologically minded dentists trained in cavitation diagnosis and treatment.
