Here we are at the conclusion of our Disney's Biggest Bombs series, rounding things out with Tomorrowland from 2015. Brad Bird who made a name for himself with the likes of The Iron Giant, The Incredibles and Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol again delves into live action with an epic tale of alternate dimensions, retro-futurism, robots, jet packs and George Clooney's. Maybe it was too early or maybe it was too late but it didn't make much of an impact upon release despite being a pretty charming and positive adventure. In 2013 Disney were still looking for the next Pirates of the Caribbean so they thought, alright fine. Let's again get Johnny Depp in a dumb hat and have him run about balancing on stuff to a Hans Zimmer score in a movie directed by Gore Verbinski. Oh and I guess Armie Hammer can be there also. This time it's 2012's John Carter o̶f̶ ̶M̶a̶r̶s̶ which aimed to cash on the populatiry of Avatar, Star Wars, Pixar director Anrew Stanton, Taylor Kitsch, Edgar Rice Burroughs and big rad jumps.
