  • We fell in love with Lee's song "Outlaw Needs an Angel." If you grew up in the west side of Nashville, Tennessee aka West Nashville, odds are that at some point in time, you drove by or stopped at the record store which was known by the name of New Life Record Shop, owned by Lee Lane. Lee was a staple of the westside scene for many years, especially during the 70's...and he still is. He is a talented songwriter as well, and he has got stories to tell. He is the first in a series of several guests we will have intermittently during this season, and we are calling them 'The Unknowns.' They may not be known on a global scale, but many of these folks are known and beloved by their friends in Nashville.


    You may still detect a bit of echo at moments during his interview, but since Lee is such a talent, we wanted to go ahead and get his story out there. The echo sound levels out fairly quickly.
