The Truth: Week 2

Life tests us through grief, heartache, and uncertainty, but Abraham's story in Genesis shows us how to respond with faith. When God asked Abraham to sacrifice his beloved son Isaac, Abraham demonstrated three key steps: saying 'Here I am' to God, choosing to worship even in pain, and lifting his eyes to see God's provision. Abraham reasoned that God could raise the dead, trusting in God's character and promises. This story points to Jesus, who became our ultimate sacrifice on the cross. When facing life's mountains, we can trust that the Lord will provide, just as He did for Abraham and ultimately through Christ.
