  • Oregon's Dan Lanning Joins, Top Coaching Performances, Who's the SEC Favorite, and Week 6 Picks
    Oct 1 2025
Not one, not two, not three, but FOUR top ten teams went down in Week 5! Urban Meyer, Mark Ingram II, and Rob Stone try to make sense of yet another top 25 shakeup. They debate if Ole Miss will win the SEC, has James Franklin taken Penn State as far as they can go, will Ohio State repeat, and if Lincoln Riley will ever win a Big Ten title at USC. Mark then crowned Dante Moore as his Dawg of the Week for his performance in Happy Valley. Oregon's head coach, Dan Lanning joined the guys to talk about their double overtime win over Penn State, his Heisman contending QB, and the Ducks mentality going forward. Lane Kiffin sounded off, giving credit to the Rebel fan base for not storming the field after their win over LSU. We went "Three and Out" with the guys naming the most impressive coaching performances to this point with Lanning, Kiffin, Ryan Day, Mario Cristobal, Mike Elko, Kalani Sitake, Brett Venables, and Clark Lea all getting their props. They wrapped with the 2-minute drill, picking Texas Tech v Houston, Alabama v Vanderbilt, and Florida State v Miami. New episodes of The Triple Option drop every Wednesday. Sep 24 2025
Is Week 4 Too early to look into the futures of programs? NOPE! Urban Meyer, Mark Ingram II, and Rob Stone play "How Does This End?" looking at Bill Belichick at UNC, Fran Brown at Syracuse, Curt Cignetti at Indiana, Luke Fickell at Wisconsin, Billy Napier at Florida, and Dabo Swinney at Clemson. (3:00) Full disclosure, we also talked about Mike Gundy at Oklahoma State, but we recorded before he was let go, so you will need to check back next week for that. Mark named his Deuce Deuce Dawg of the Week - USC Quarterback Jayden Maiava. (30:00) What does Texas Tech head coach Joey McGuire do after beating Utah in Salt Lake? Come on his favorite show of course! He talks about their win, how he has motivated this group as well as answering the accusations that they are buying a playoff spot. (32:18) We then went Three and Out with the guys listing the most difficult stadiums to play in (heads up PBA fans). (47:25) They then hit their Week 5 picks between USC-Illinois, Alabama-Georgia, and Oregon Penn State. We wrapped with Jake Jarvis' top 12 for the week! • Georgia Back on Top, Tennessee Wins QB Trade, Brian Kelly Sounds Off, & Todd McShay Joins
    Sep 17 2025
Nobody cares about Special Teams, until it loses you a game. Urban Meyer, Mark Ingram II, and Rob Stone dive right into a wild weekend for special teams with Georgia Tech taking down Clemson, Tennessee missing a game winner, and Notre Dame muffing a hold. They then debated if the SEC runs through Athens and if the Vols came out on top of the Nico-Aguilar trade. (1:31) Mark then named his THREE Dawgs of the Week, bestowing Texas A&M's Marcel Reed, Georgia Tech's Haynes King, and Aggie receiver Mario Craver (16:20). We then opened the floor for LSU Head Coach Brian Kelly to Sound Off! after their win over Florida. Rob and Coach then debated if he was on the right or wrong side of that conversation. (21:37) The Ringer's Todd McShay stopped by and talked about the top Quarterbacks in this year's draft class including Garrett Nussmeier, Cade Klubnik, John Mateer, and more. (33:05) It was then time for Three and Out, with Urban naming his Top Three Big Ten Quarterbacks, Mark dubbing the three he's most impressed with, and Rob gets you up to speed on the three you need to know. (51:33) They wrapped with the 2-Minute Drill, picking Illinois-Indiana, Utah-Texas Tech, and Oklahoma-Auburn. (1:00:08) New episodes of The Triple Option drop every Wednesday.
