The episode where Sarah shares a favorite smorgasbord topic: it’s government conspiracy time, ya’ll. That’s right, take your anxiety meds because Unit 731 is going to make you both sad and anxious. Picture it: WW2, Japanese scientists, human experimentation, a complete disregard for ethics, and a pardon from the US all to get hands on the research. Lindsey is sad, Boydston’s word play is on point to bring up the vibes, and Sarah is here to feed anxieties you didn’t know you had.

The episode where Lindsey shares an unsolved true crime (yay!) and we find our enneagram kitchen utensils. We needed to know. This is the story of the Jamison family who disappeared in Oklahoma in 2009. They left behind some weird video footage, their dog (he’s okay, don’t worry), and a LOT of money…and to this day we don’t know what happened to them. The episode where Boydston shares the mysterious Kelly Hopkinsville encounter. That’s right guys, it’s a goblin story! Okay, really, it’s an alien story, but to us, they are shiny goblinos. Setting the stage: Kentucky, August 1955. Mysterious beings descend upon a family and it’s a Matrix style battle. Some believe it was owls, but bird expert Boydston is here to disprove this theory. Meteors? Hoax? Who knows, but it is a wild ride.

The episode where we share our recent (kind of) investigation of the Savoy Hotel here in KC. The Savoy is long rumored to be haunted in the heart of KC, so we of course decided to have a sleepover to celebrate our Christmas get together! You’ll hear all about our sleepover, music video, and the ghosts that are said to inhabit this old hotel. And we’re sorry…but we may have paralyzed a character again, but we really shouldn’t be allowed out of our basements.

The episode where Sarah brings us some true crime with the story of Kim Jong Nom’s murder. You may have heard of this, but it’s terrifying the way it was carried out. Perfect recipe for anxiety, honestly. But first we’ll review our Spotify wrapped (spoiler alert, it’s all Taylor).

The episode where Boydston tells us a smorgasbord story about the Dublin Whiskey Fire of 1875. What is a whiskey fire? Glad you asked. This is one of those history lessons that sounds unbelievable but 100% happened - a river of lava whiskey. This episode is filled with mispronounced words, condescension, and…poop. Yes, fun facts about horses…they poop a lot. You’re welcome for the new fact!
