  • 86. Allison H.’s Success Story: Recovery From PPPD and VM With 24/7 Dizziness and Other Intense Symptoms
    Jul 2 2025

Many people are told by medical professionals that recovery isn’t possible — that symptom management is the only option. But is that really true? Meet Allison.

After a sudden episode of vertigo, Allison developed a relentless list of 24/7 symptoms, rarely dipping below an intensity of 8 out of 10: dizziness, a constant sense of movement, floating, swaying, vision problems, light sensitivity, screen intolerance, sensory overwhelm, severe head pressure, intense brain fog, and feelings of derealization and depersonalization.

In this interview, you’ll hear about Allison’s experiences with doctors — and the very real harm that can come from the words of healthcare providers when diagnoses are handed out with discouraging messages. You’ll also see what changed when Allison discovered The Steady Coach and began working with tools like somatic tracking, graded exposure, and parasympathetic breathing.

Allison has a gift for explaining the many complex topics discussed on this channel in a way that is simple and easy to grasp — and she shares exactly what helped her most. Most importantly: Allison has now been fully recovered for over a year. She’s thriving — traveling to remote destinations, taking long flights, and living a full, vibrant life. Her recovery is real, lasting, and complete. It’s not just symptom management.

Enjoy this long and inspiring interview with Allison.

  • 84. Dani’s Success Story: Recovery From PPPD & Vestibular Migraine, Eustachian Tube Dysfunction & More
    Jun 4 2025
Start here: https://thesteadycoach.com/free-course Dani first experienced ear pain, blockage, and popping sensations after flying while recovering from a cold. Her symptoms gradually worsened until she could no longer stand or move without assistance. By that point, Dani was dealing with dizziness, visual disturbances, brain fog, nausea, tinnitus, sensitivity to light and sound, fatigue, and recurring panic attacks. She described that time in her life as feeling like ‘nothing’ and struggled with dark, intrusive thoughts. In this episode, Dani shares her journey through doctor visits and medical testing, and how finally meeting a compassionate vestibular therapist and receiving a PPPD diagnosis led her to The Steady Coach. You’ll hear how the success stories inspired her, what tools helped her improve—including somatic tracking and gradually becoming active again—and the emotional work she did to navigate the setbacks. Today, Dani is doing much better and approaching life’s challenges with a new perspective.
