On this episode we will dive into the blood evidence, what it tells us, what it doesn't tell us, & what questions it leaves us with.

  • The 1995 Mitsubishi Mirage
    Dec 4 2024

On this episode we will be discussing the discovery of Melissa Ann Witt's 1995 white Mitsubishi Mirage Coupe that was located in the Bowling World parking lot December 4th 1994. Bowling World was only 6.7 miles from the Witt home. Arguably one of the first places you would think to look. A place searchers without a doubt would have driven by or near. Yet, no one claims to have thought to look there nor seen the car just sitting there nonstop for 3 days until 8:30am on December 4th 1994.

Then hours later a worker from Bowling World called Fort Smith, Arkansas police department to let them know they had a set of keys turned in they thought might belong to Melissa Witt. Keys the Fort Smith police department didn't think to go inside to check for when they located & towed Melissa's car.

Fort Smith, Arkansas police said Melissa Witt wasn't missing - they wouldn't file a police report.

Fort Smith, Arkansas police said they found Melissa Witt's car but suspected no foul play - even though they towed her car to be finger printed.

A missing girl that wasn't missing & car that wasn't part of a crime nor a crime scene with no foul play & nothing to see... but everything to see was right in front of their faces.

For season 3 we made a virtual map for our visual besties & hopefully for a better podcast listening experience! The map features relevant locations discussed this season for the Melissa Witt case as visual aids & additional information attached to each location! CLICK HERE TO VIEW!
