This one was different. For Air Max Day, Teko & McFlei hit you with recording live in front of a studio audience while taking over Burn Rubber Detroit’s IG Live.

Teko pulled up with what he calls a “quick 78 piece” Air Max collection, turning the space into a full-on experience. Sneakers on display, people pulling up in their favorite pairs, stories being shared, history being debated… it was more than a podcast, it was a whole vibe. From casual pull-ups to real sneaker conversations, the energy stayed high the entire time.

Heads up, we were having a little too much fun early on… Teko’s mic wasn’t plugged in for the first few minutes, but once it locks in, it’s all gas.

If you love sneakers, community, and real conversations, this is one you don’t skip. Tell a friend to tell a friend. The Sneaker Dads Podcast is live.

This week, Teko & McFlei are talking “G.O.A.T.S. & Grails”—those once-coveted sneakers from nearly 20 years ago that could’ve been worth a down payment on a house, now collecting dust on shelves below retail or moving for just a few hundred bucks instead of the thousands they once commanded.

The fellas also give an update on how the streets responded to the ongoing Undefeated Jordan 4 release—were there riots, police shutdowns, or did it all go smoother than expected? They unpack it all.

Plus, they cover the Awake x Air Jordan 5 dropping in two colorways with extremely limited stock, along with fresh heat from Anthony Edwards and James Harden as their signature lines start making noise again heading into the 2025–2026 NBA season.
