    This is it.

The final episode of Season 5.

What started as just a podcast has turned into something a lot bigger than we ever expected. Over 140+ episodes… countless rides… new friendships… hard lessons… and a brotherhood that goes way beyond snowmobiling.

This season didn’t go how we planned. The snow was rough. Events got canceled. Things shifted. But in a weird way… it ended up being one of the most important seasons we’ve had.

In this episode, we sit down as a full crew and talk through:

    – The reality of this season (good and bad)

    – Our favorite moments and biggest takeaways

    – What this whole thing has actually become

    – And where Sled Send is heading next

Because the truth is… this isn’t just about riding anymore. We’re building something bigger. And this is just the beginning. If you’ve been here since day one—or this is your first episode—we appreciate you more than you know. None of this happens without you. Season 6… we’re coming back different.

  • The First Sled Send Brotherhood Retreat Changed Everything
    Mar 18 2026

What started as a group of guys connecting online turned into something a lot bigger.

For the first time ever, the Sled Send Brotherhood came together in real life for our first retreat. Guys drove from all over the country to spend a weekend riding, hanging out, and building something that honestly feels rare these days — real brotherhood.

This episode is a look back at that weekend.

We talk about the chaos of getting everyone together, the moments that made the trip unforgettable, and why this retreat proved that what we’re building with Sled Send is bigger than snowmobiling. It’s about community, pushing each other to be better, and surrounding yourself with people who share the same mindset.

Some guys drove 20–30 hours just to be there.
Some met each other for the first time after years of talking online.
And by the end of the weekend, it felt like something real had been built.

This was the first Brotherhood Retreat.
It definitely won’t be the last.

If you’re part of the Sled Send community, this episode is for you.
And if you’re new here, this is a pretty good look at what we’re all about.

  • What 8 Days in the Iron Dog Taught Me About Pain
    Mar 11 2026

2,300 miles.40 below zero.Eight straight days of pain. This was Smasher’s fourth time racing the Iron Dog — the longest and most brutal snowmobile race in the world. And this one hit different. He rode through full whiteout blizzards where you couldn’t see 20 feet in front of you. Fixed broken A-arms in the middle of nowhere.Got turned around on the wrong trail. Watched a Top 10 finish slip away by just one hour. But the hardest part wasn’t mechanical. It was mental.

In this episode, Smasher breaks down:

What 2,300 miles across Alaska really does to your body

The storm that almost made them turn back for good

Why “smooth and steady” is the real Iron Dog strategy

What pain teaches you when quitting would be easier

And whether this is the end of his Iron Dog career

This race doesn’t just test machines. It tests who you are. Should Smasher run it again next year — or is it time to walk away?

Drop your thoughts in the comments.

  • Mic To Mic: The SledSend X Sledder Cast Collab
    Mar 4 2026

Today’s episode is a little different. Two different snowmobile podcasts coming together on the same episode. We’ve got Tyler Smith and Shae Sainsbury from the SledSend podcast with us, and instead of pretending like we don’t all kinda do the same thing, we decided to sit down and compare notes. We talk about how SledSend actually got started, what they’ve learned after interviewing a pile of people in the snowmobile industry, and which episodes stand out the most. We get into the ones that made them uneasy and I admit which episode had me on edge too.We also flip it around… Tyler and Shae share their favorite Sledder Cast moments, how they think about partnerships, and what they’re building with The Brotherhood and who it’s really meant for. It’s a solid back-and-forth between people who care about the same sport and are trying to build something meaningful with podcast content - inside it.Let’s dive in.

  • How a 15-Year-Old Is Building His Own Path in Snowmobiling
    Feb 25 2026

At 15 years old, most kids are still trying to figure out what they’re interested in.

    Taos already knows.

In this episode, we sit down with one of the youngest Backwoods Retreat winners we’ve ever had on the podcast — a rider who has made real sacrifices to carve his own path in the sled industry.

He chose homeschool to pursue riding more seriously.
He’s stepping into Rmsha hillclimb racing.
    He’s surrounding himself with mentors.
And he’s taking avalanche education and backcountry responsibility seriously.

This isn’t just about riding sleds.

    It’s about discipline.
It’s about vision at a young age.
It’s about being intentional when most people are distracted.

    We talk about:

    • Why he chose homeschool to chase snowmobiling
    • Getting into hillclimb racing
    • The Backwoods Retreat experience
    • Night rescue missions in the mountains
    • Mentorship and earning your place
    • Avalanche awareness and trailhead checks
    • His long-term vision in the sled industry

Snowmobiling needs young riders who care about the craft, the culture, and the responsibility that comes with it.

    This is one of them.

  • Why the Backwoods Giveaway Almost Collapsed
    Feb 18 2026

The Backwoods Giveaway Retreat almost didn’t happen. Three weeks before the event, the lodge double-booked us. No backup plan. Six random winners already selected. Sponsors committed. Trucks loaded. Momentum rolling. And that was just the beginning.

In this episode, we break down everything that went wrong leading up to the weekend — from scrambling to find a new lodge, to heat exchanger failures, broken belts, no snow for weeks, and riding 16 deep in shallow conditions.

But this isn’t just a recap. It’s about:

    • Pivoting under pressure

    • Leading in chaos

    • Snowmobile culture

    • Building something bigger than perfect conditions

    We talk about:

    – The scramble to save the retreat

    – How a local mechanic saved Jose’s sled

    – Meeting the six winners (including an engaged couple who both won)

    – Riding in a big group without losing control

    – Why snowmobile culture continues to surprise us in the best way

Every year we pick six completely random riders and spend a weekend together in the mountains. And every year, it reminds us why we do this. It’s never perfect. It’s always worth it. If you’ve ever wondered what goes into hosting something like this — this episode is the real behind-the-scenes.

  • The Plan to Bring HayDays Energy to the West Coast With Levi Green
    Feb 11 2026

What would it take to bring Hay Days-level energy to the West Coast?

In this episode, we sit down with Levi to talk about his vision for building something bigger than just another ride day — an event designed to grow snowmobiling, build community, and elevate the culture of the sport.

From guiding alongside elite riders at Proven Progression to making high-stakes decisions in the backcountry, Levi shares how discipline, responsibility, and leadership shape the way he approaches sledding — and why the sport needs more than just riders if it’s going to grow.

    We dive into:

    – What makes Hay Days so powerful
    – Why the West Coast needs its own version
    – The responsibility elite riders have to grow the sport
    – Building community beyond social media
    – What the future of snowmobiling could look like

If you care about the direction of snowmobiling — not just the riding — this conversation matters.

  • What a Bad Snow Year Reveals About the People You Ride With
    Jan 28 2026

The snow is bad. The season isn't going to plan. But this episode proves riding has never really been about the snow.

In this episode of the Sled Send Podcast, all five of the crew are finally back together under one roof for the first time this season.

What starts as catching up quickly turns into a real conversation about brotherhood, responsibility, avalanche awareness, and what a bad snow year reveals about the people you choose to ride with. With unpredictable conditions and limited opportunities to ride, this season has tested a lot of snowmobilers. Trips get canceled. Plans change. Motivation fades. But instead of killing the stoke, it’s forced a deeper look at why we ride — and who we ride with.

In this episode, we talk about:

    • What a bad snow year reveals about character and commitment
    • Why riding skill matters less than trust and accountability• Avalanche safety, close calls, and lessons learned in the backcountry
    • How community and mindset can carry a season when conditions aren’t ideal
    • Why the Brotherhood has become bigger than riding itself

If you’ve ever questioned why you ride, struggled through a tough season, or wondered what actually matters when the snow doesn’t show up — this conversation will hit home.
