This week Frank sits down with a fellow former Celtic striker, the one and only Cillian “The Sheriff” Sheridan, for a fast, funny and wonderfully unpredictable conversation.

Cillian reflects on arriving in Scotland as a young Irish lad and the sheer delight of being handed a three year Celtic contract by the much loved Tommy Burns, a moment that changed everything for him. From there, his career became one of the great football odysseys as he tries to name all 17 clubs he has played for across Europe and beyond.

The Sheriff talks about learning Chinese on his travels, why he thinks Irish players have a special resilience, and how proud he is to see Ireland reach the World Cup play offs, helped by the heroics of Dublin boy Troy Parrott, who came through the same youth club.

Frank and Cillian also look ahead to the 2026 World Cup, sharing hopes, predictions and a fair bit of wishful thinking.
