As we wrap up our series on getting unstuck, we consider any overall guidance to help us move forward. We can hear so many great sermons, but nothing changes. Where does real progress begin?

First, we look at the situation of the man at the pool and recognize that it is only because of Jesus that we can proceed forward. He is the beginning of the solution, the middle and the end of the solution. So we take a moment to recognize the value of Jesus in our lives.

Second, we consider how the man moves forward by seeing how he responds to the healing of Jesus. The man chooses to love others and share Jesus. If we will live a life for others, growth and change will be required.

When Jesus asks do you want to be made well, he replies by saying his problem. Many times, our situation gets worse because we are more focused on the problem and the giver of the solution to the problem. We engage this week with the idea of how we fix our focus on Jesus as we go through situations and hardships.
