The Sandstorm

Today's story is called The Sandstorm. Many of the personal and spiritual journeys I take in my mind's eye revolve around a desert. I think a desert symbolizes so much for me. Harsh and unforgiving elements. A heat that you just can't escape. And also, with the right perspective, an unparalleled beauty. A training environment, that pushes you to keep going, to survive. It gives a full picture. Allowing you to see for miles, until the sandy hills merge seamlessly with the horizon line.

In the Sandstorm, you experience the beauty of the desert but have your view of it clouded by an impending tempest. You set out on the trek with a companion who is now lost, and you take on the mission of finding them, to bridge the gap that lies between you, to find peace in the turmoil, and to reunite in the midst of the storm.
