Wow. The first episode of 2012 (& the first one to be broadcast LIVE on DIU TV) hopefully isn't a sign of things to come. First off, Dave misses the date by 20 days (guau), then a couple misplaced settings on Wirecast throws us all off. THEN the computer freezes!

Well, we managed to recover (right around the 40-minute mark). Even before that happened, Primo explained what happened to the beard of enlightenment & asked the room how they feel about their bearded faces. Once we resumed the show, Dave continued with the news, UFC 141 & Dream NYE 2011 results & fallout, & a whole lot more.

The first word to describe this episode is "wow." After #12's disaster, we tried to keep #13 as lucky as possible. Little did we know that we would broadcast just shy of 5 hours.

Primo informed us about a study that says marijuana use won't harm your lungs (& we also called Chuck Nickels for an expert opinion on two joints) & gave an inspiring article about how a company is aiming to help those who can't walk achieve a miracle.

Dave talked about how a black church owns a KKK store, a Texan being deported to Colombia because of a false name, why you should think twice about penis tattoos, & Michelle Bachmann's heart-warming message of quitting after losing once.

After a little hiatus, we came back with a guest. Banterman Evan Coolidge joined us on what SEEMED like it was gonna be a short episode. Well, it was only short by our standards.

Primo brought nothing but PBR & a smile. Dave covered a couple news stories about a woman marrying a building, a man adopting his girlfriend, & a cancer survivor suspended for his cause (which we question based on statistics).
