    Jan 16 2026

The Hot Recap crew deliver the third and final part of our 2026 Betfred Super League season preview!

On the news front, the boys discuss Shaun Wane's exit and outline which coaches could take the helm at England RL for this year's World Cup. There's signing news as more Rhinos head down under and Leigh work to retain key players. We tease a potential big clash in the Challenge Cup and recap the fallout from the Featherstone announcement last week.

To the preview, and this week we ask the big questions; Are Wakefield dark horses as they enter year 2 in Super League? Do Warrington make this a year of transition as they blood their talented youngsters? Is this the year that Wigan drop out of the Top 2? Can York deliver on a real year of promise as they make their debut in the Super League?

We'll be back next week with another episode as we count down towards the 2026 Betfred Super League and NRL seasons!

    Jan 9 2026

The Hot Recap crew bring you the second of our three-part preview into the 2026 Betfred Super League season.

But first, we start with the news that Featherstone Rovers will not play in the 2026 Betfred Championship season after the RFL could not agree to their prospective owner being financially stable to take the club into the new season.

The boys follow this news up with a look ahead to the first round of the Challenge Cup, the latest on Salford's recruitment, Zac Lomax's maneuvering to get to Melbourne, the Leigh Leopards' response to allegations against Tesi Niu and Matt Dufty's release from the Warrington Wolves.

It's straight into our season previews then when we answer the questions; Are Hull KR the favourites for the 2026 Super League title? Are the Leeds Rhinos facing a now or never season? Is anyone in a better place to challenge for silverware than Leigh Leopards? What is Paul Rowley going to do to fix St Helens and can Toulouse compete with their assembled squad for the new season?

We'll be back next week with the final part of our three-parter.
