In this episode, Lavender Krupp and Ashton Coleman welcome the arrival of spring by sitting down with 2025 graduate Lila Seeger, 7th-grade science teacher Molly Duhamel, and Black Swamp Conservancy Director Rob Krain. Together, they reflect on how the Fox-Shank Living Laboratory program has grown and evolved over its three years of existence. In this episode, Greylin Durbin interviews OJHS teacher Matt Rohn and a few of his students about the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race, one of the most famous and challenging races in the world. This race takes place in the snowy wilderness of Alaska and covers more than 1,000 miles of difficult terrain. Mushers and their teams of sled dogs work together to travel from Anchorage to Nome while facing extreme cold, strong winds, and long days on the trail.
