  • Thejas Nalval
    Jul 29 2021

Thejas Nalval is the Co-Founder and CIO of Parataxis Capital Management, a multi-strategy investment firm focused on the digital asset sector. He first started buying cryptocurrencies in 2012, and was part of the core team of not one but two cryptocurrency hedge funds before launching Parataxis in 2019. Over the last decade, Thejas has quietly built the expertise, team, and network necessary for success within the digital asset ecosystem. I like to think of him as somewhat of a silent assassin. Watch out for this one.

Please note that this podcast is produced for general business interest, and is not an offer to sell securities of any investment fund, or a solicitation of offers to buy any such securities.

Throughout my career I have been incredibly fortunate to have some pretty amazing mentors. Burton Weinstein was one of them. I was employed at Cedarview Capital during the height of the financial crisis, and learned from one of the best on how to stay calm and power through trying times. Twelve years later he agreed to sit down with me and share some of the secrets of his success and longevity in this industry. Enjoy.

  • Todd Westhus
    Jul 7 2021

Todd Westhus is CEO and CIO of Olympus Peak Asset Management, an opportunistic credit / event driven fund. In this interview Todd explains how there’s no off season in swimming, there’s no off season in investing, and missing a day of meditation isn’t an option. Intimidating? A little. But those are the qualities of a true Olympian, and Todd gets pretty close. And then he gets into how size isn’t everything and how thoughtfully he put together his team and operations. So you relax. There is proof that he is actually human. And charming too. Sit down, you’ll be here awhile.

  • Jonathan Jacoby
    Jun 27 2021

Jonathan Jacoby is the Founder and CIO of Tabor Asset Management. Tabor is named after Mount Tabor, the site of a famous biblical battle between the Israelite and Canaanite armies. The Israelites were victorious over the much stronger opposing army because of their fortitude, perseverance, and confidence – qualities that Jonathan exhibited from a young age. Throughout his career he often held the contrarian view, but his commitment to honesty and extreme competitiveness kept him strong and unwavering. Perhaps one of the most personable men on Wall Street, Jonathan was the perfect guest for my pilot episode.
