    Nov 14 2025

    Welcome Back Bunglers! ⚡

We’re heading back to New Thundera with one of the most dedicated ThunderCats fans in the world: Egmond from We Want More ThunderCats! From his childhood in South Africa watching the series for the first time to sparking the global #WeWantMoreThunderCats movement, Egmond has helped keep the ThunderCats flame alive for fans everywhere.

In this episode, Ryan and David chat with Egmond about his lifelong love for the series, how his fan campaign helped inspire Super7’s toy line revival. From action figures to today’s double episodes it’s a perfectly radical celebration of the fandom that refuses to fade! (And with that golden sphere gleaming on New Thundera, maybe Cheetara isn’t the only cat with gold fever this week!)

Today's double episodes starts with "The Heritage":

⚡"Wilykat and Wilykit discover the Golden Sphere of Setti, an ancient artifact that once belonged to Mumm-Ra. The sphere magnifies his power by four, making him more powerful than the Ancient Spirits of Evil."

    Then in "Screwloose":

"Jagara cannot work New Thundera's Gyroscope on her own. So, the ThunderCats send for a robot to aid her in running it. Screwloose, a robot who specializes in Gyro's, comes to New Thundera."

    ⚡Original Airdates: September 13, 1989 & September 14, 1989.

  • ThunderCats Reviews: 4:116 & 4:117 "Leah" & "Frogman" (1989) 🪞👹🐸
    Oct 24 2025

    Welcome Back Bunglers! ⚡

It’s a double dose of kitty chaos as we dive into two wild ThunderCats adventures from the final season of the series! Joining us all the way from Australia (and rocking a 12-hour time difference!) is our very own Lovely Leah, the emoji queen herself!

Leah brings her sparkle, sass, and signature humor to today’s double feature as we break down every meow-ment of “Leah” and “Frogman.” Expect laughs in this purr-fectly outrageous ThunderCats celebration of the final season of the series!

But Bunglers… could this be an unofficial Halloween episode? 🎃 Between a creepy Mirror Wraith (or was it Wench? Wreath?!), a bootleg Chucky doll from Mumm-Ra, and doors and windows flying open at night, things are getting spookier than ever on New Thundera! 👻

Today's double episode starts with "Leah":

⚡"The Ancient Spirits of Evil bring a creature to Mumm-Ra called a Mirror Wraith, which he transforms as a doll and gives to a lost thunderian child named Leah, who keeps it and unwittingly puts the Thundercats in great danger."

    Then in "Frogman":

"Wilykit and Wilykat accidentally release Frogman. Seemingly harmless at first, he is soon revealed as a ruthless villain with the fearsome power to control all water."

  • ThunderCats Reviews Bonus Number Eight: "Metesh, Mail & More!"
    Oct 17 2025

    Welcome Back Bunglers! ⚡

Ryan and David are back with a new bonus episode! We read a question from Karrisa about Grune & Jaga and hear the thoughts of bbg372 on season four.

Then it's a massive Metesh celebration! We read his mail and then read his epic ThunderCats “What If” five-parter imagining a smarter, more emotional retelling of "Return to Thundera"

In his version, Jaga is put on trial for destroying Thundera after the ThunderCats discover a colony of bitter Thunderian refugees led by none other than Ratar-O, now hailed as their “true lord.” Lion-O, Pumyra, and the team face moral and emotional conflicts as loyalties shift and shocking truths are revealed. The story unfolds into a wild, satirical, action-packed saga featuring courtroom drama, space battles, queer mutant allies, Mandora’s return, and the gloriously oiled Whizz-Ra saving Jaga’s honor while exposing Mumm-Ra’s deception. In the explosive finale, Berbil starships rescue the heroes, Ratar-O is defeated, and Lion-O and Bengali share a surprising kiss as New Thundera becomes a shared home for all. Metesh’s rewrite brilliantly blends humor, chaos, and heartfelt nostalgia — a true Bungler masterpiece HO!

  • Episode 172: "Mannequin" (1987)
    Oct 10 2025

    Welcome Back Radical Ones! ⚡️

We’re ending Season 5 with a little retro magic! This week, Ryan, Rob, and David gather to revisit the 1987 cult classic “Mannequin”, the wild, whimsical, and wonderfully 80s tale of love, art, and department store hijinks. It’s the one where a department-store window display gets more action than most people do in a year!

We started way back in Season One with Mannequin Two, so it was only right to return to the original before Rob takes one more bow as a full-time cohost.

Did Jonathan Switcher really make Emmy… or just give her a pair of beautiful nipples and call it art? 😅 Either way, it’s a love story that proves with enough synth music, Starship lyrics, and department store lighting, anything is possible…including, you know, doing a full window display every single night!?

This episode is bursting with all the sparkle: mannequins, Starship, and the unapologetic fierceness of Hollywood Montrose, the flamboyant window dresser who lights up the screen with pure personality and flair. And of course, it’s also a heartfelt “see you later” to our very own Movie Geek, Rob, as we celebrate all the laughs, recommendations, and radical movie moments he has shared with us.

Plus, history is made as we place the very first item into the Radical Retro Time Capsule! Nothing’s gonna stop us now, Radical Ones… it’s time to get radical!

"Jonathan Switcher (Andrew McCarthy), an unemployed artist, finds a job as an assistant window dresser for a department store. When Jonathan happens upon a beautiful mannequin he previously designed, she springs to life and introduces herself as Emmy (Kim Cattrall), an Egyptian under an ancient spell. Despite interference from the store's devious manager (James Spader), Jonathan and his mannequin fall in love while creating eye-catching window displays to keep the struggling store in business.”

Stars: Andrew McCarthy, Kim Cattrall, Meshach Taylor, Estelle Getty, and James Spader.

It’s a brand new season of ThunderCats Reviews and your Radical Retro Brothers are kicking off Season Four in the biggest way possible, a five part adventure, Return to Thundera!

This week, we are joined by our amazing friend Zack, back in the lair as cohost, to help us tackle the thunderous chaos of Lion-O and crew’s long awaited return to their home planet. • Radical Retro Rewind?! Bonus: Chat With Actor Michael Bailey Smith!
    Sep 19 2025

    Welcome Back Radical Ones!

I had the amazing opportunity to sit down and chat with Michael Bailey Smith as part of our Nightmare on Elm Street Summer! Michael famously portrayed Super Freddy in Part 5: The Dream Child!

We also dive into one of my all-time favorite shows, Charmed. Michael shares his experiences playing some of the most unforgettable villains in the series: Shax, the demon who shockingly killed Shannen Doherty’s character Prue in "All Hell Breaks Loose", Belthazor’s full demonic form, and even the Source of All Evil.

Along the way, Michael reflects on working with the cast, tells a wonderful story about Julian McMahon coming to support him at one of his stage plays during their Charmed years and more!

And of course, we couldn’t leave out superheroes! Michael stepped into Marvel history as Ben Grimm/The Thing in the cult-status, unreleased Fantastic Four film from 1994, and three decades later had a full-circle moment returning for a cameo in the brand-new 2025 movie.

From horror icons to Halliwell Manor to Marvel, this conversation is packed with nostalgia, laughs, and incredible stories you won’t want to miss!

    It’s time to get Radical!
